Mamice, kaj pravite?
Nuna Leaf Curv
The Nuna Leaf Curv or the MamaRoo 4.0 ? Let’s begin with the Nuna Leaf Curv baby cot. I remember the first time I’ve read a variety of blogs and articles about Nuna’s line of products on the internet. After all I’ve read, I wasn’t sure it would be a good fit for my little sunshine. After talking with my partner, I (or rather, we) have decided to buy a Nuna Leaf Curv. Setting up the baby cot was surprisingly simple. Well, yes, I’d probably take a lot more time to set it up without the help of my man. Together we set it up in less than 10 minutes.
The end result ? We were impressed. The look alone made a good impression, clear lines, no “screaming” colours, no out of place shapes and a nice smooth design, which fit in perfectly with our home setting. So, for us parents, which aren’t too fond of the minimalistic modern look isn’t great at a first glance, it’s still an ideal choice. Later I’ve read that they’ve gotten their inspiration for designing this baby cot from nature…A simple leaf that’s slowly falling from a tree, swinging left and right gently.
By now, you’re probably interested in its qualities and how they work out in practice. So the baby cot is padded with 100 % organic cotton, meaning your baby can have a safe and soft sleep. With the control button at the bottom of the stand, you can enable the rocking function (no, we’re not talking about blasting ACDC out loud 😊, we’re talking about a gentle swinging motion), which automatically shuts off after 2 minutes, allowing your child to gently and quietly be cradled away into dreamland. The gentle rocking motion in the embrace of the ergonomically designed baby cot is really love by my little sunshine.
The baby cot Nuna Leaf Curv works without a direct electrical socket plugin and it doesn’t need batteries. This carefully designed cradle will take care of your child for most if not all of his childhood as its carrying capability is 60 kilograms. We’ve been using it since our baby was born and have been using it up until the point where our child has physically outgrown it. So, on what occasions was the Nuna Leaf Curv useful in our case ? We’ve used it the most to for some afternoon naps. I’ve simply put the baby cot near the sofa or even on the sofa and had a nice afternoon nap. Even when I was doing some chores around the house, the cradle kept my baby comfortable and amused, leaving me with time to do what I needed to do. In short, I’d recommend this baby cot to anyone, since it’s usable from birth all the way up to the point where your child will physically outgrow it.
P.S. Even bigger brothers or sisters can use the cot sometimes 😊
4Moms – MamaRoo 4.0
As I’ve mentioned in the introduction. I’m going to show you another baby cot, the MamaRoo 4.0 of the prestigious 4Moms brand. One day while I was browsing around social media, I’ve randomly stumbled on a 4Moms baby cot advertisement. I was drawn to its attractive design and after checking out the product I was impressed from all its functionality. Compared to the Nuna baby cot, the MamaRoo is a lot more modern and attractive in terms of visual aesthetic. Quite a few of my friends own this baby cot and I have to say it looks stunning in a modern environment.
Regarding its functions however, I have to say that is has a lot more than the Nuna Leaf Curv. You can choose between 5 unique motions (car ride, swing, etc.) and between 5 different speed settings, allowing you up to 25 different combinations of movement. We can’t forget about the unique sound of nature it provides as well.
And now for a nice bit of news for all smartphone and app fans. The speed, setting and music can be monitored and changed with a mobile phone. The app is available for IOS and Android operating systems. With this 4Moms has also taken care of the parents as well as the baby. From what I heard from my friends, the MamaRoo 4.0 is also very good when it comes to feeding your baby as you can pivot the baby cot to suit your feeding style.
Lastly, I’d like to tell you that the baby cots aren’t that different in terms of price. The MamaRoo 4.0 is roughly 30 euros more expensive than the Nuna, but let’s not forget that it also has more functions, which in my opinion completely justify the price difference.
With warm regards,
